MuniMobile - The Official Mobile Ticketing App
MuniMobile is the official mobile ticketing app from San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
The app lets you use your phone to purchase and use Muni fares and passes. It offers both Adult, Senior, and Disabilities, and Youth fares.
Once you’ve purchased your ticket, your phone will be charged for the appropriate amount. You can then use it to ride Muni buses and light-rail trains, and for some Cable Cars.

A cellular network or a wireless Internet connection is required to purchase tickets, but you can use/activate your tickets offline.
